Course: Blakeney Weekend– (residential
course with some painting on location)
Course starts on Friday at 6.00pm and ends on Sunday at 4.30pm
This is a course for those who want to enjoy the very best of
what North Norfolk has to offer. We have arranged a special weekend
break in the luxurious Blakeney Hotel, which has a magnificent
quayside location with panoramic views across the estuary and salt
marshes. Our tutor is Ian King who has often appeared on Anglia
TV painting this Heritage Coastline. His delightfully engaging
style is much appreciated by students who value his step-by-step
teaching approach.
If you are looking for a luxurious weekend with
clear definite instruction and tips on how to improve your painting
skills, then this course is ideal. We have our own spacious studio
in the hotel. All of the bedrooms have en suite facilities.
The hotel has a swimming pool, saunas, a gym and jacuzzi as well as
south facing gardens with views over the estuary. Blakeney village
is full of winding streets, interesting shops and fishermen’s
cottages. There is a wealth of bird life to be seen from the coastal
path while boat trips to see the seals at Blakeney Point leave
from outside the hotel. There is much for non painting partners
to enjoy.
The course begins at 6.00pm on Friday and ends at 4.30pm on Sunday
and includes 2 nights full board accommodation with en-suite
facilities and all painting tuition.
