Landscape for Beginners
Horsey Mill and its adjacent Mere is a great favourite with local artists and an ideal place for beginners in landscape painting. The mill is an attractive subject best treated simply and you will be given every encouragement to capture its bold shape. It provides a good introduction to sketching the Norfolk landscape. You will be encouraged to tackle the Norfolk big skies and open horizons studded with church towers, windmills and sail. This is best done from the privacy of an open boat trip in the company of a renowned Norfolk naturalist who will be our skipper. A hugely enjoyable Broadland experience and one to remember.
The course is from 10.00am to 4.30pm and includes lunch, boat trip on Horsey Mere and all refreshments.
