Courses: Masterclass - (a 2 day
course, some painting on location)
Course starts each day at 10.00am and ends at 4.30pm
 This
is a weekend with the acclaimed watercolour Impressionist master,
John Tookey.
John is offering a 2 day course in the centre of Norwich based
in the medieval Prior’s Hall in the Cathedral Close. Norwich
boasts the finest collection of medieval buildings in Britain.
We shall be visiting some of the painting locations first made
famous by John Crome, the founder of the Norwich School over 200
years ago. Possible
locations will include the famous Gateways and houses of the Cathedral
Close (the largest in England), Bishop Bridge (the oldest bridge
in Norwich) and other views from the lovely riverside walk.
 Townscapes
form a major part of John Tookey’s portfolio. He will be
demonstrating his loose impressionistic style.
The course is from 10.00am to 4.30pm each day and includes lunch and
all refreshments and parking.
