Courses: Watercolour Workshop (residential
course with some painting on location)
Course starts on Sunday at 6.00pm and ends on Thursday after
breakfast
 If
your watercolour techniques are a bit rusty and your painting kit
is somewhat dusty then this course will get you going again! Two
tutors will give tuition in all the basic techniques. As well as
working in the studio, one day will be devoted to landscape painting.
The course fee includes full board accommodation at the award winning
Dairy Barns Farm Guest house complex.
The en-suite twin-bedded rooms (all on the ground floor) are spacious
and very comfortable and include TV and DVD as well as more personal touches like
flowers, magazines and a hot drinks tray.
Our studio is in the beautifully restored ancient barn from which doors
open out onto the courtyard and garden. All meals are home cooked with
locally sourced produce. The farm has abundant bird life (barn owls and
marsh harriers are common) and there are many tracks and paths accessible for
walking. The sea is only half a mile away and there are a number of windmills
in the vicinity and a famous much televised garden at nearby East Ruston.
The course includes 4 nights full board accommodation
with en-suite facilities and all painting tuition.
