John Tookey is a painter’s painter. He is very highly regarded among professional artists. His loose, impressionistic style with strong tonal patterning captures the spirit of the place without overstating detail. John’s course is ideal for those wanting to loosen up their technique and paint in the English watercolour manner as epitomised by Edward Seago. John has illustrated several books and is well exhibited nationally.
